We were a party of six, everyone enjoyed their food. Located in a plaza, it is a small restaurant so I recommend a reservation if you have a party of more than 4 people. Our waitress was excellent.
Went to eat here for the very first time, was there on a quick lunch break and Megan took care of me and even had a great and quick suggestion for my meal. Got 3 tacos with rice beans and sauce and everything was amazing. Food service and pricing was wonderful. Thank you El Tapatio and Megan!
Absolutely delicious! Prices are average and reasonable. We use to go to another Mexican restaurant in Vero, BUT they raised their prices so much and didn't update them on there menu, we decided never again. We were on the hunt for a new Mexican restaurant to eat at. Well we found it! Fish was cooked to perfection and was bigger than we thought it would be. It had a lot of meat on it. Really good portion of rice and beans! Some places are not serving the portion sizes they use to and raising the prices on top of that. We will definitely be eating here often.
My husband and I went to El Tapatio in Vero Beach for lunch on Tuesday last week. The atmosphere was quaint and inviting. The service by Kristin great! She was personable and attentive making sure we had everything we wanted. We started with chips and salsa that were so fresh. We both ordered 3 item dinner combos so we would have leftovers. I had a taco with ground beef, a burrito with shredded chicken, an enchilada with pork, beans and rice. Each item had its own distinct tasty flavor. Everything was delicious and they didn't skimp on the meat. We even got an order of flan to go for dessert. We'll definitely be back!
Weekend lunch spot, hole-in-the-wall place but not a dive. Chips and salsa immediately, spicy too, great for me but not for the delicate tastebuds. Super burrito is wet, zero flaws. Beans need another pinch of salt. Rice is tasty but typical, worth having. Chimichanga was crispy and delicious. This is everything you want in a small fondita.
Went for lunch and it was quite busy for both dine-in and takeout. Got a table within 15 mins. Food was excellent, I had the vegetarian burrito with rice.and beans along with a beer. Service.was fast and friendly. Kristen and another lady were working and knew all the regulars. Service was excellent and made you feel like family. I would highly recommend this Mexican restaurant. Really authentic food and excellent service, what else can you ask for. This is my new favorite restaurant.
This is a small hometown feel restaurant. It seems everyone knows each other. The waiting staff is super friendly and appear to love their job! They bring chips and salsa to the table as soon as you order your drinks. For the main course, we ordered the chicken fajita (no bell peppers) and a pick 3 (2 tacos and 1 enchilada, all with ground beef and gluten-free). Their portions are huge! And their prices are even better. The food was hot and delicious. They used the perfect amount of seasoning and spices; it wasn't over the top. They had several gluten-free free options. The waiting staff was very attentive as well. The atmosphere was very cozy. It felt like we were in a local taverna somewhere in the middle of a small village in Spain. Spanish music (sometimes mariachi) was playing over the speakers as well to give it even more of an authentic feel. I would highly recommend this restaurant as your go-to for Mexican cuisine. Not only was the food great, but it was super fast service as well!
